9月のテーマは「株式が24時間オンチェーンで動く時代へ
Robinhood Chainとトークン化株式が示すオンチェーン金融の未来」です。
Robinhoodは、株式・暗号資産・デリバティブなどを扱う金融アプリとして成長してきましたが、近年はその役割を単なる取引アプリから、オンチェーン金融インフラへと広げつつあります。2026年7月には、ArbitrumベースのEthereum Layer 2である Robinhood Chain のPublic Mainnetを発表し、トークン化株式、RWA、DeFi、AI-nativeな金融体験を支える基盤として展開を進めています。
特に注目されるのは、Robinhood ChainがStock TokensやETFなどのトークン化RWAを想定し、ウォレット、DeFi、レンディング、担保利用、24/7取引といったユースケースと接続しようとしている点です。Robinhoodの説明では、Stock Tokensは対象株式への経済的エクスポージャーを提供する一方で、原資産に対する法的権利や受益権を直接付与するものではないとされています。
今回のWeb3 Business Hubでは、Robinhood Chainを題材に、証券会社や金融アプリが自社チェーンを持つ意味、トークン化株式とRWAの可能性、DeFiとの接続、そして日本の金融機関・事業会社にとっての示唆を整理します。
金融アプリは、単なる売買画面から、資産発行・流通・決済・運用・担保利用を支えるオンチェーン金融基盤へと進化するのか。

The “Web3 Business Hub (WBH)”, a corporate-focused Web3 community jointly operated by Atarashii Keizai and KudasaiJP, hosts monthly seminars designed to provide practical insights for advancing Web3 business initiatives.
The theme for August is
“Toward an Era of 24/7 Onchain Equity Markets - The Future of Onchain Finance Through Robinhood Chain and Tokenized Stocks”
Robinhood has grown into a financial platform offering access to equities, crypto assets, derivatives, and other financial products. In recent years, however, its role has begun to expand beyond that of a simple trading app toward becoming a broader onchain financial infrastructure provider.
In July 2026, Robinhood announced the public mainnet of Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer 2 built on Arbitrum, positioning it as infrastructure designed to support tokenized equities, real-world assets (RWAs), DeFi, and AI-native financial experiences.
One of the most notable aspects of Robinhood Chain is its focus on tokenized RWAs, including Stock Tokens and ETFs, and its potential integration with use cases such as wallets, DeFi, lending, collateralization, and 24/7 trading. According to Robinhood, Stock Tokens are designed to provide economic exposure to the underlying equities, but do not directly grant legal ownership rights or beneficial interests in those underlying assets.
In this edition of the Web3 Business Hub, we will use Robinhood Chain as a case study to explore what it means for brokerages and financial applications to operate their own blockchain infrastructure, the potential of tokenized equities and RWAs, their integration with DeFi, and the implications for Japanese financial institutions and corporations.
Will financial applications evolve from simple interfaces for buying and selling assets into comprehensive onchain financial platforms supporting asset issuance, distribution, settlement, investment, and collateralization?
Starting with Robinhood Chain, we will explore together with participants the future possibilities of next-generation securities businesses and Web3 finance.
