​Atlanta is the city of pathogens and power. The CDC looms like a citadel, a monument to control, where outbreaks are measured in contracts and cures are commodified. Behind the marble facades of Emory and the glass towers of Midtown, people still choke on the fallout of pandemics while executives toast another round of funding.

​But the underground is already mutating. In labs off the Belt Line, in kitchens and greenhouses, punks with pipettes are culturing resistance. DIY biohackers, rogue epidemiologists, and the right kind of drug dealers are reimagining what disease means—turning containment into care, turning infection into connection.

​This isn’t a networking event. It’s a resistance cell. A clandestine convergence of the Biopunk underground: renegade virologists, molecular saboteurs, and guerrilla medics ready to break open the black box of public health. We’ll trade intel in the shadow of the CDC, share survival strategies, and build a toolkit for the next outbreak on our own terms.
