Finding Frank: A Public Hearing (of Frank Ocean's Blond)

​The listening party is a staple in music, especially when it comes to revisiting past work. While it’s fun to sing along to music you love with a large group of people, we often leave traditional listening parties wishing we had gained more, whether a deeper understanding of the project, or a new perspective on it.

​Finding Frank is an interactive listening party and celebration for the tenth anniversary of Frank Ocean's album, Blond. Together, we'll explore a new take on the format: As we listen to the album together, I’ll be inviting friends, music journalists and audience members to come on stage and share their thoughts / stories / memories associated with the songs. If you love Frank Ocean and Blond, come through and chat about it with other people. Never heard it? Come find out why people love it—and Frank—so much. The hope is by the end of the night, you will not only have revisited a classic album, but you'll walk away with a new perspective.

​Join us at Loudmouth on Sunday, August 30th at 4:00pm for an interactive listening session & discussion around Frank Ocean's album Blond. Tickets are $13, and come with an entry to win Blond on vinyl! Light bites will be provided.
