What is it?
You know those conversations that start with, "So, what are you working on?" and somehow end with three new ideas, a book recommendation, an introduction to someone you should meet, and plans to grab coffee next week? That's the kind of creative chemistry we're here to facilitate.
The most inspiring conversations can change more than your day. They can lead to a collaborator for your next project, a client opportunity, a creative breakthrough you've been stuck on, a friendship that expands your network, or the encouragement you need to finally pursue the idea you can't stop thinking about.
Sometimes all it takes is being in the same room as people who spark something in you. The best creative conversations have a way of becoming something bigger than the conversation itself.
We'll guide you through a series of relaxed, small-group conversations designed to make meeting new people feel easy. Thoughtful prompts and a flexible structure beat elevator pitches and awkward small talk every time. We'll help the conversations flow naturally, while leaving plenty of room for tangents and genuine connection.
You'll leave with the experience of having had fun, meaningful conversations with interesting, creative humans…and maybe even a few exciting possibilities for what happens next.

What to expect
You'll feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Grab your beverage of choice (included with your ticket ), settle in, and we'll guide you through a series of relaxed conversations in groups of 2–3 people.
There are no awkward icebreakers, forced networking activities, or pressure to sell yourself. We'll provide optional prompts to help get things started, but the best conversations often take on a life of their own.
Who we are
Lauren McConnell and Alisa Singh are creatives from opposite sides of the spectrum: Lauren's a performer with a gift for helping people find their true paths, and Alisa's an introverted painter with a deep love for spreadsheets and teaching people how to use them.
We're unlikely collaborators who have already made a difference in the lives of hundreds of creatives. Together, we've seen firsthand what happens when the right people find each other – and we created Creative Speed "Dating" to make more of those moments possible.
