Bridging Tech Spaces: Houston, We Have a M.O.V.E. Brunch
Detroit to Houston · Move 01 · Friday, November 6 · Kulture, 11 to 2
Making Detroit a city people choose: three straight years of growth, and we want to meet you.
Opportunity in the room: Detroit employers with open roles, homes you can actually afford, and the people who help you get there.
Visible on the last day of AfroTech: brunch on us at Kulture, two minutes from the convention center, 11 to 2.
Everywhere starts in Houston. Choose Detroit. Make the move.
If you’re in Houston for AfroTech, or you go to Texas Southern, this one’s for you. Before you head to the airport, come sit down with Detroit. Bring your questions, your pitch, and the friend who keeps saying “one day.”
Friday, November 6, 11 AM to 2 PM
Kulture, 701 Avenida de las Americas, Suite A, Houston, TX 77010. Next to the George R. Brown Convention Center and Discovery Green.
On us: brunch, coffee, and a mimosa or two. Anything stronger is on you.
Who it’s for: HBCU students and grads, the builders, the creatives, the people who move capital, and anyone who has ever wondered what Detroit has for them.
Why Kulture: it’s Marcus Davis’s room, from the family behind The Breakfast Klub, built as a home for the food, art, and music of the diaspora. Our kind of place.
About us: Black Tech Saturdays is a Detroit-anchored national movement, 30,000+ strong across eight states. The M.O.V.E. Tour, Making Opportunity Visible Everywhere, is BTS and MoveDetroit on the road together, making it easier to choose Detroit, come back, or stay.
