About Event

🌍 AI Governance Club

Aligning each AI agent with its principal does not prevent disaster once those agents start interacting.

Join us for Session 38 of the AI Governance Club, where we'll discuss:

Multi-Agent Risks from Advanced AI (2025)
by Hammond et al.

Hammond and 43 co-authors argue that even capable, aligned agents holding nearly identical objectives can still produce arbitrarily bad outcomes together, which is why they treat multi-agent failure as a distinct problem rather than a corollary of single-system safety.

Session format: presentation & open moderated discussion
Presenter: Frances Chinaza Agba

Frances is a computer science educator and AI Governance Risk Specialist who focuses on analyzing governance gaps in emerging AI safety research. Her work examines how frontier model behaviors, epistemic risk, and institutional oversight failures intersect with regulatory and policy frameworks.
