Steady Yourself. Support Your Athlete. A Sports Parent Workshop
Are you a sports parent in the Kingston area and want support for parenting through tryouts and high-pressure sports moments?
Tryouts and high-pressure moments can be just as challenging for parents as they are for athletes.
You want to support your child, but it’s easy to second-guess what to say, get caught up in the emotions, or unintentionally add to the pressure.
This workshop is designed to help you show up in those moments with more steadiness, clarity, and confidence.
You’ll learn how to support your athlete through the highs and lows without rushing to fix, minimize, or make it heavier.
In this session, we’ll cover:
What to say (and not say) after tryouts and tough moments
How to stay grounded when emotions run high
How to support disappointment without minimizing it
How to become a parent your athlete can rely on in pressure moments
You’ll leave with simple tools, practical strategies, and more clarity on your why.
Because your role isn’t to remove the pressure, it’s to help your athlete navigate it.
