CryptoMondays Berlin — Edition #2
Q4 Market Update — where crypto stands going into year-end
CryptoMondays is a global network of city chapters where crypto and AI people meet in real life, on Mondays. This is the Berlin chapter's second edition — CMB #02.
The Binance hack, the US midterms and Q4: where crypto stands now. Bitcoin gained about 43% in Q3, its best third quarter since 2017. Then came the record $6.3B Binance hack, and in early November, Bitcoin fell to its lowest level since mid-September during the US midterms.
Q4 has historically been a strong quarter for Bitcoin, but it also produced last year's −23%. CMB #2 is a 15-minute, no-hype read on current affairs. What we know about the hack, what's still unanswered, and what the market flows and seasonal data do and don't tell us.
Founders, devs, investors, researchers, and the crypto-curious all welcome. Bring one person who'd enjoy the room.
