Who Is Kyle Kazan:
Kyle is one of the most experienced and well-rounded operators you'll meet. He started investing in real estate in 1991 and, over the next twenty years, built an impressive track record, launching a total of 23 private equity funds across commercial and residential real estate, property management, and insurance. His current owned and managed properties are valued at over $2.75 billion.
He also served on the boards of several international investment and hedge funds, bringing a truly global perspective on capital, risk, and building sustainable businesses.
In 2016, Kyle made a conscious and bold shift: he closed four of his funds, combined them, and used that foundation to enter the regulated cannabis industry. He formed the vertically integrated company Glass House Brands, which has since become a category leader.
Beyond business, Kyle began his career with the LAPD and has long been an advocate for police reform and ending the War on Drugs. He has spoken on behalf of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP) and has appeared in outlets ranging from CNN to Fox. He is a frequent guest professor at NYU Stern, USC Marshall, and UCLA Anderson, and he graduated from USC, where he played varsity basketball under Hall of Fame Coach George Raveling.
