Following the grisly events at Miskatonic University, Drs. Herbert West (Jeffrey Combs) and Dan Cain (Bruce Abbott) conduct unethical experiments in the basement of their cemetery-adjacent home (“Oh my god, they were roommates!”) and attempt to re-animate the heart of Dan’s lost love, Meg. Director and co-writer Brian Yuzna (Society, Beyond Re-Animator) combines gothic horror, romance, and gruesome practical effects in this pathos-filled follow-up to 1985’s Re-Animator (dir. Stuart Gordon). You won’t want to miss Kathleen Kinmont’s jaw-dropping performance in the finale; you've never seen a Bride like her before!
