North Idaho Writers League Meeting

​The North Idaho Writers League has been around for over 85 years and gathers monthly to support new and seasoned writers with everything from the basics of story and character development and proper comma usage all the way through to getting your book published and marketing it to the world.

Our monthly meetings are run by one of our members and generally includes a presentation or guest speaker and discussion around a writing topic and possibly a writing prompt. The last hour of the meeting is often devoted to reading and receiving feedback on each other’s work.

​All levels of and types of writers welcome, from those just starting out to best selling authors, and those who enjoy journaling, writing hard news, poetry, fiction, or screenplays.
