A Fundraiser in Support of James Zimmermann

Join us for an elegant and inspiring fundraiser at a stunning historic venue in Nashville, Tennessee, where timeless architecture and refined ambiance provide the perfect backdrop for an evening dedicated to artistic excellence and principled courage.

This special event celebrates the pursuit of merit-based opportunity in the arts and stands in solidarity with accomplished classical clarinetist James Zimmermann in his ongoing legal battle against employment discrimination.

James Zimmermann is a world-class, classically trained professional clarinetist with a distinguished career as Principal Clarinet of the Nashville Symphony and as a sought-after recording musician. In 2020, he faced targeted harassment and cancellation for courageously opposing the imposition of DEI mandates over artistic merit—leading to his unjust firing by leadership that prioritized ideology over excellence. Undeterred, James rebuilt his career in technology while never abandoning his passion for music. In 2025, he prepared tirelessly—hundreds of hours of dedicated practice—and won the Principal Clarinet position at the Knoxville Symphony through a fair, blind audition. Yet, days later, the offer was rescinded amid apparent pressure from ideological forces, prompting James to file suit for discrimination.

His case has captured national attention, amassing millions of views on X, coverage in outlets including Daily Wire and Newsweek, podcast appearances with Megyn Kelly, Steve Bannon, and others, and notice from prominent civil rights advocates like Harmeet Dhillon, head of the Civil Rights Division at the U.S. Department of Justice. James cannot fight this battle alone, so we stand with him to restore merit, fairness, and true excellence in classical music and beyond.

The evening will feature captivating live music performed by accomplished musicians and special guests, blending classical mastery with moments of inspiration and reflection. Enjoy fine refreshments, meaningful conversation, and the opportunity to contribute directly to James's legal fight for justice.

Your support helps ensure that talent and skill - not politics or quotas - define success in the arts.
