Ashlee Vance is a journalist, author, and filmmaker. He is the author of the NYT best-sellers Elon Musk and When the Heavens Went on Sale. He spent decades writing for the NYT and Bloomberg Businessweek and has produced documentary films for HBO and Netflix. Vance is now the founder of Core Memory, a media company dedicated to bringing science and technology stories to the world.
Max Hodak is the co-founder and CEO of Science Corporation, a neural engineering company working to restore lost senses and expand human capability through brain-computer interface technology. Before founding Science Corp in 2021, he co-founded Neuralink and served as its president. Science Corp's lead product, PRIMA — a chip smaller than a grain of rice implanted in the eye — has demonstrated the ability to restore functional vision in patients with advanced macular degeneration.
