About Event

TL;DR: Open office hours with the Stop Prompting, Start Shipping facilitators. Bring the questions that have come up since our talks — about AI, automation, your stack, your stuck project — and we'll work through them together. No agenda, no slides, just our time.

We've given a handful of talks and workshops over the last few months, and the best conversations always seem to start after the room clears out. This is that conversation, scheduled. Drop in, ask what you've been chewing on, hear what other founders are running into, and leave with a concrete next step instead of another tab to read later.

What to expect:

  • A working session, not a presentation — you bring the questions, we work through them live

  • Real talk and peer connection with fellow founders and operators

  • Honest answers about what's working, what isn't, and what's not worth your time yet

  • Follow-up threads on anything we covered in previous talks

You'll leave with: clarity on a specific problem you walked in with, a concrete next step you can take that afternoon, and at least one conversation worth continuing.

No prep required. No coding required. No prior AI experience needed. Just bring one question — or one thing you've been trying to ship and can't quite get over the line.

This session is for you if you're a founder, operator, or business owner who is:

  • Sitting on a question from one of our previous talks that you didn't get to ask

  • Stuck on a specific AI or automation problem and want a second set of eyes

  • Curious what's actually working for other founders right now

  • Considering a build and want to gut-check the approach before you spend the time

About the facilitators

Patrick McHeyser has deployed production code for everything from newly-funded startups to multinational organizations, and has worked as a leadership consultant with Special Operations, Google, NASA, and other Fortune 500 companies. Now he runs an AI consulting practice as a solo operator, managing 10 client projects with a custom infrastructure of autonomous agents, automated workflows, and systems that replace a small operations team.

Chris McDermut is a software engineer with over a decade of experience serving in leadership positions at startups, PE, venture-backed, and public companies. He has shipped $250M revenue platforms, serverless messaging architecture serving 3 million users, and onboarding systems for 2 million users. He brings deep experience shipping revenue-critical systems and architecture at scale and is shipping an open source AI orchestration platform.

Natalie Levy runs She's Independent, an investment community supporting first-time angel investors and has automated 100 hours a month of the operations that make it run, building bots, content pipelines, and knowledge bases as a non-technical founder.
