Bitcoin L2s and other scaling solutions have been trying to make BTCFi a meaningful part of a decentralized finance for years. But not all players in the Bitcoin ecosystem share this aspiration and Bitcoin DeFi represents a small fraction of the overall market. This panel will examine whether BTCFi is a worthwhile path for future financial innovation or if it’s destined to remain a niche area of the DeFi market.
