​Join us in Berlin for the JetBrains AI & ML Meetup – an evening of practical insights, technical conversations, and new connections with the JetBrains Mellum and Machine Learning teams and NVIDIA.

Whether you’re building with LLMs, working in machine learning, or simply curious about what it takes to develop language models from the ground up, we’d love to welcome you.

Kseniia Lysaniuk and Petr Borovlev, ML Engineers at JetBrains, will use Mellum2 as a case study to explore some of the most important decisions behind LLM development. They’ll discuss choices around tokenization, training data, and the pre-training recipe as well as the experiments used to evaluate what worked and what didn’t.

In our second talk, Sergio Perez, PhD (Solutions Architect at NVIDIA), will talk about NVIDIA Nemotron: Open Models, Datasets, and Techniques for Agentic AI.
