​Join us for a conversation that will focus on the relationships that are at the heart of wildfire, forestry and the future of the Forest Service, hosted by Rain. Facilitated conversations will be followed by an optional happy hour with small bites.

​The Red Sky Effect
The Red Sky Summit has been at the forefront of cutting edge conversations around innovation, technology, public-private partnerships, and wildfire resilience. Participants have been able to highlight both essential work on the ground, and opportunities for how we can transform our systems and approaches to be better. 

​The Forest Service
Anchoring a web of relationships, the Forest Service connects those who steward public, private, state, and Tribal lands. Important shared work includes reducing wildfire risk to communities; restoring fire-adapted ecosystems; protecting water resources and wildlife habitat; providing economic opportunity; and supporting ways of life in towns and communities across the country.

At this session, we will discuss what is needed in a high-functioning Forest Service of the future. What key roles are essential to your work? What are key enabling conditions for shared stewardship and collaboration for wildfire resilience? What needs to be improved, created or transformed to create a fire-resilient future?

You are an important leader and voice within this community, and your insights, experiences and input will help guide this effort.

​About Rain
Rain is adapting autonomous aircraft for wildfire response—enabling rapid suppression while providing fire agencies with a new layer of safety. Rain was proud to host the first Red Sky Summit in 2023 at their headquarters, located in the former air traffic control tower on Alameda Point. Since then, Red Sky has blossomed into a premier catalyst for conversations that move us toward a more resilient fire future.
