About Event

AI agents are already running inside real workflows. Once teams deploy them, they hit questions demos can hide: reliability, judgment, ownership, trust, and what happens when intelligence moves beyond the cloud.

On October 8, the Budapest Agentics Foundation meetup looks at agents in the wild.

Dragan "Profa" Spiridonov will share lessons from deploying agentic quality engineering into production. Adam Kovacs will examine whether models like Jev can support decisions when correctness is business-critical. Balazs Kemenes will share what happens after leaving a job to build something from zero, including where AI agents help and where human judgment still matters. Reuven "rUv" Cohen will speak about edge AI and what changes when intelligence moves closer to the systems, sensors, and environments where work happens.

Klara Hermesz will then moderate a panel with Dragan, Adam, Balazs, and Gabriella Matyas-Kollar on adoption and how people and organizations change when agents enter real workflows.

The event is free, volunteer-run, and noncommercial.

Program

Dragan "Profa" Spiridonov: Agentic QE in Production

(LinkedIn · GitHub)

Dragan will share what his team learned once agentic QE reached production. He will cover what changed, what held up, and how they think about confidence in agent outputs.

Dragan is Head of Agentic Quality Engineering at Cognitum One. He created the PACTS and Agentic QE framework and platform. He also serves as Board Secretary of the Agentics Foundation and ambassador for its Serbian chapter.

Adam Kovacs: Do Models Like Jev Get It Right When Correctness Is Business-Critical?

(LinkedIn · GitHub)

TypeSafe describes Jev as a System One model for typed, probabilistic decisions inside software.

Adam will look at where that helps, where uncertainty still matters, and how much confidence a business-critical workflow should demand.

Adam Kovacs is co-founder and Chief AI Strategist of the AI Enablement Academy. He is also a Co-founding Member and International Ambassador of the Agentics Foundation and Executive Director of OPEN Talent Society.

Balazs Kemenes: Quit Your Job to Build Something… OK, What Now?

(LinkedIn · GitHub)

Leaving a job to build something is only the beginning. What comes next means figuring out what to build, how to work, and where AI agents can help.

Balazs will share practical lessons of his builder journey, looking at where agents help, where human judgment matters, and what he has learned along the way.

Balazs Kemenes is a zero-to-one builder and former Head of Engineering at Superlinked, which raised $10 million from Index Ventures.

Reuven "rUv" Cohen: Edge AI: Intelligence Beyond the Cloud

(LinkedIn · GitHub)

Edge AI moves inference and decision-making closer to the data, devices, and physical environments where systems operate. Ruv will look at what this changes for agentic systems, local sensing, latency, resilience, privacy, and the boundary between cloud infrastructure and intelligence running at the edge.

Reuven Cohen, known as rUv, is founder of the Agentics Foundation and founder and Chief AI Officer of Cognitum One. He founded Enomaly, later co-founded CloudCamp, and created the AI Hackerspace Collective. His current open-source work spans agent orchestration, memory, and edge sensing, including Ruflo, RuVector, RuView, and MetaHarness.

Panel: What Changes for Humans When Agents Roll Out?

Moderated by Klara Hermesz
(LinkedIn · AI Enablement Academy)

Panelists: Dragan "Profa" Spiridonov, Adam Kovacs, Balazs Kemenes, and Gabriella Matyas-Kollar

Klara will moderate a discussion about what changes for people when agents start doing real work. The panel will cover adoption, roles, judgment, accountability, trust, and how hybrid human-agent workflows change the way teams operate.

Klara Hermesz is co-founder and Chief Learning Strategist of the AI Enablement Academy. She previously built and scaled global learning programs at Meta and Uber.

Gabriella Matyas-Kollar
(LinkedIn)

Gabi Matyas-Kollar is an economist and an expert in AI, strategy and innovation, and Head of AI at Shiwaforce.com Zrt. She leads the company's AI development team and supports the AI adoption of numerous enterprise clients, from AI maturity assessments, training, advisory and operational support to solution development, all the way to designing hybrid human/AI agentic processes.

She holds a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD, having studied in France, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and San Francisco. She brings extensive leadership experience and an international perspective in finance and technology, having previously held senior management positions at Morgan Stanley, Erste, Allianz and AEGON. She is an HTE Top50 Women in AI honoree and the founder of Women & AI Hungary, an active meetup community.
