​Join us for An Odd & Wonderful Life, a grand opening celebration with food trucks, live music, short films, maker demos, creative installations, partner experiences, and stories from nationally recognized builders and culture-makers.

​We are not announcing every name yet, but the room will include:

​A legendary worldbuilder behind stories and games millions know.

​An early witness to one of technology’s most iconic beginnings.

​A Northern Nevada innovation voice with global reach.

​A founding-era builder from one of the world’s most influential creative communities.

​This is not just a ceremony. It is the beginning of an ongoing culture of creativity, work, entrepreneurship, and community participation.

​Everyone who walks in will be asked one simple question:

​What do you want to build?

​Then they will connect with real pathways: maker tools, technical training, apprenticeships, startup support, university opportunities, creative projects, employment partners, and first-step funding.

A fast-moving conversation with builders, founders, artists, technologists, and culture-makers about creativity, work, story, risk, and what it means to build something that matters.

Ribbon Burning / Ribbon Cutting + Career Trajectory Planning
A symbolic launch moment followed by direct pathways into training, career exploration, employment, and hands-on opportunity with National Technical Institute, Nevadaworks, The Generator Makerspace, and additional workforce, education, and employment partners.

​6:15 PM
Entrepreneur Playground Opens
An 18+ team-based experience where participants form ideas, solve problems, pitch concepts, and compete in a live entrepreneurial challenge.

Winning Team Announced
Final pitches, judging, and announcement of the winning team.
