OpenAI Build Week Community Hackathon - Taipei

​歡迎參加 OpenAI Build Week Community 黑客松 - 台北。

這是一場全日、動手實作的 build sprint，邀請台灣的工程師、設計師、創辦人、學生、產品人、開源貢獻者，以及對 AI 有興趣的 makers 一起參與。目標很簡單：用 Codex 做出真正能運作的作品。

OpenAI Build Week 串聯全球各地的 builders，使用 Codex 與 OpenAI Developer Platform 進行原型開發、改善既有專案，並把軟體產品推進到能被展示、試用與分享的階段。在台北，我們會用一天時間把想法做成可運作的 demo、探索 agentic coding workflows，並和在地社群分享成果。

你可以從零開始、延伸現有專案、製作開發者工具、打造 AI-native 產品、實驗 agents，或改善既有工作流程。不需要先有 Codex 經驗，但請熟悉軟體開發，並自行攜帶筆電。

組隊與報名

每隊須由 2 至 4 人組成。每位成員都需要個別報名，並填寫和隊友完全相同的隊名，讓我們能正確整理團隊報名資料。

本次活動最多接受 30 組隊伍。完整的四人隊伍將優先取得入場資格，因此以四人完整組隊報名，最有機會保留名額。

請在報名前先和隊友確認，並使用一致的隊名。

Codex Credits

完成現場報到的參與者，將獲得 USD 100 的 Codex credits。

黑客松獎項

第一名 - $5,000 OpenAI API credits
第二名 - $2,500 OpenAI API credits
第三名 - $1,000 OpenAI API credits

11:45 AM - 團隊確認與專案範圍規劃
12:00 PM - 提供輕食午餐，並開始 Build Sprint
3:00 PM - 1 分鐘影片繳交截止
3:45 PM - 公布決賽入選隊伍
4:00 PM - 決賽 demo，每隊 2 分鐘
5:00 PM - 頒獎

Demo 與 Global Build Week

活動尾聲，入選決賽的隊伍將進行簡短 demo。團隊應以能運作的 prototype、清楚的 workflow，或具意義的技術進展為目標。

我們也會分享活動結束後如何繼續 build，以及如何參與更廣泛的全球 Build Week challenge。

餐點與飲料

現場會提供輕食點心、輕食午餐與飲料。請攜帶筆電、充電器，以及 build 時需要的工具或帳號。

Join us for OpenAI Build Week Community Hackathon - Taipei.

This is a full-day, hands-on builder sprint for developers, designers, founders, students, product builders, open-source contributors, and AI-curious makers in Taiwan. The goal is simple: build something real with Codex.

Across OpenAI Build Week, builders around the world are using Codex and the OpenAI Developer Platform to prototype, improve, and ship software projects. In Taipei, we'll spend the day turning ideas into working demos, exploring agentic coding workflows, and sharing what we build with the local community.

You can start from scratch, extend an existing project, build a developer tool, prototype an AI-native product, experiment with agents, or improve a workflow you already use. No prior Codex experience is required, but you should be comfortable building software and bring your own laptop.

Team Formation & Registration

Teams must have 2 to 4 members. Each person should register individually and enter the exact same team name as their teammates so we can group registrations correctly.

We can accept a maximum of 30 teams. Complete four-person teams will receive priority during admission, so registering as a full four-person team gives you the best chance of securing places.

Please coordinate with your teammates before registering and use one consistent team name.

Codex Credits

Checked-in attendees will receive USD 100 in Codex credits.

Hackathon Prizes

1st Place - $5,000 OpenAI API credits

Bring your own idea and build something practical.

- A clear path for continuing after the hackathon

Demos & Global Build Week

At the end of the day, finalist teams will present short demos of what they built. Teams should aim to show a working prototype, clear workflow, or meaningful technical progress.

We'll also share how to continue after the event and participate in the broader global Build Week challenge.

Food & Drinks

Light snacks, a light lunch, and drinks will be provided. Please bring your laptop, charger, and any tools or accounts you need to build comfortably.
