Show Me the Money: A Founder's Funding Guide
Which funding path is right for your venture?
Not every startup needs venture capital, not every business is positioned for a traditional loan, and not every founder should be pursuing angel investment.
Join STATION NWA and the University of Arkansas's The Collaborative for an educational session designed to help founders better understand the funding landscape and identify the capital options best suited to their ventures.
We're flipping the traditional pitch. Rather than founders pitching investors and lenders, we're asking capital providers to pitch founders.
Five representatives from across the funding landscape will share how their capital models work, the types of ventures they support, what they look for in prospective applicants, and, equally important, when their funding may not be the right fit.
Featured presenters include:
Venture Capital: Brian Wells (Village Capital) and Will Tier (Capital Factory)
Small Business Lending: Debra Leach (Communities Unlimited) and Hallie Hannaman (Regions Bank)
Angel Investing: Amy Hopper Swan (Ark Angel Alliance)
Whether you're exploring funding for the first time, preparing to raise capital, or evaluating your next stage of growth, this session will provide practical insights to help you make more informed decisions about financing your venture. Beyond the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with capital providers and connect with fellow founders, investors, and leaders across Northwest Arkansas's growing innovation ecosystem.
