Do you turn into your worst 12-year-old self when you go home for the holidays?

Or get so triggered by Uncle Nick that you launch WWIII with battle of the belittlement?

Or shut down completely with your eyeballs rolled completely back in your head?

Or do you play along, smiling and dancing, but feel dead inside?

Or maybe you LOVE gathering with your family, yet kinda lose yourself when you're with them.

Whatever is your go-to family pattern–one of these or something else entirely, this session is about how to orient to caring for yourself, your needs, your yearnings, and actually getting nourished when you’re with your family (or whoever you’re with).

It IS actually possible.

In this 90-min multi-sensory experience, you'll

  • Learn how to re-enter the family system without losing yourself.

  • Role-play your biggest holiday triggers (so your body’s ready before they happen).

  • Practice comebacks that feel true instead of performative.

  • Hang with other amazing humans in the same boat, on this journey of self-discovery.

Session pairs particularly well with the mouthwatering "Ughh My F*cking Family" Holiday Survival Guide.

Come prepared with a frustrating, enraging, or comical situation that is not just possible but plausible, and we’ll help each other prepare for them!

What is the Aliveness Collective?

It's your twice monthly invitation to slow down and practice what you know is good for you (but sometimes forget), in community with others who are doing the work too.

About the experience creators:

This experience is facilitated by Aliveness Collective co-founders Caitlin Nisos and Krissie McMenamin.

Caitlin has a double-masters in Social Development Practice and Transformational Leadership and Coaching and helps people who have lost themselves reconnect with who they are and reclaim joy, purpose, and peace.

Krissie harnesses her MBA from Northwestern, MA in Transformational Leadership and Coaching and embodied anger to spark people and leadership teams on a journey of self-discovery through experiences, facilitation, and coaching.

Both have been on deep growth journeys that intersected on a Zoom dance floor mid pandemic.
