Live, often comedic stories all made up on the spot. No script, nothing rehearsed. Kind of like Game Changer and Whose Line Is It Anyway?. The cast builds scenes and characters right there in front of you!
It's quick, funny, and a bit chaotic in the best way. You don't need to know anything about improv. Just show up and have a laugh!
It's not always comedy, though. Base Show is really about presence, risk, and discovery: theatre created live in the moment.
What to Expect
This edition of Base Show features three improvised performances, each approximately 35 minutes.
Each performance is created on the spot and happens only once.

Unscripted Affairs
Improv meets reality TV! Unscripted Affairs explores how contestants on a dating show navigate tricky relationship dynamics. Will they find love, or something else? 👀 Stay tuned.

Two improvisers craft a unique improv show live with the audience, gathering suggestions and rules straight from the crowd before performing it on the spot. Fresh, spontaneous, and never the same twice.
Both Brennan and Jon are seasoned improvisers with years of stage experience, but this marks their first performance as a duo—delivering raw, unfiltered chemistry and unpredictable magic on stage.

Base Show is part of Base Improv’s broader effort to support the growth of improv in Singapore by creating more opportunities for staged performance.
Proceeds from Base Improv activities go back into sustaining spaces for improvisers to practice, experiment, and share work with an audience.

They have trained and performed internationally across improv and performance disciplines, and through Base Improv, aim to create thoughtful, sustainable platforms for improvisers to grow through both practice and performance.
