For Design Week South Africa 2026, aēsplore studio opens a special experience with the.minimalist, exploring the ideas and creative process behind the South African design brand.
On Wednesday 21 October, Joshua, co-founder of the.minimalist, will introduce himself and share his journey, passion for design and the story behind the brand. He will take guests into the creative process, from early ideas, sketches and references through to experimentation, prototyping and the finished object.
The evening will then open into drinks, conversation and informal networking, giving guests the opportunity to meet Joshua in person and celebrate the opening of the experience together.
An evening about looking beyond the finished object and discovering the people, thinking and process that bring it to life.
