AI Security at the People Layer: Unlocking Enforcement Readiness

As generative AI becomes embedded in everyday work, Shadow AI expands with it. Teams turn to AI to draft communications, analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and accelerate execution of core business tasks. In those moments, operational context moves with them: documents, proprietary knowledge, system details, and sensitive information flowing through AI interactions that often sit outside established visibility and control.

For security leaders, this creates a growing blind spot. The challenge is no longer whether AI is being used, but whether its use can be observed clearly enough to manage exposure, apply policy with intent, and enable the business to move forward with confidence. This session is designed to address that gap.

Join Maro for an exclusive executive session on securing the new frontier of AI usage governance through behavior.

This event kicks off the Maro Roadshow, a small, executive-focused series designed to help security leaders observe, govern, and guide real AI usage across their organizations. The Roadshow brings Maro to Boston, where the team's cybersecurity and community roots run deep.

What We’ll Cover

Led by Maro co-founders Jadon Cruz Montero and Gwen Betts, we’ll work through the full lifecycle of AI usage governance, grounded in real-world behavior and hands-on application.

  • An AI trust approach: Clarifying how your organization approaches new AI tools today, including default controls, tolerance for experimentation, and where trust and responsibility are implicitly set.

  • AI usage discovery: Identifying which AI tools teams are already using, which should be supported with enterprise licenses, and establish a shared baseline for approved use.

  • Operating zones aligned to business value and role: Defining clear, use case-level boundaries based on why AI is used, the outcomes it supports, and the data and context involved

  • Real-time guidance and enforcement readiness: Applying contextual guidance, soft controls, and enforcement where it’s effective, shaping secure behavior as work happens.
