A Rare Live Demo: Caligra’s c100 Developer Terminal

Hosted by Euphemia

On Friday 23 January, Euphemia is hosting something genuinely rare.

Caligra, one of the world’s most ambitious new computer companies, is in town. Their Co-founder and CEO, Grant Bissett (normally based in London), has travelled with Caligra’s C100 Developer Terminal. A working prototype of a computer built exclusively for serious technical work.

This is not a slide deck.
This is not a render.
This is a live, in-person demo of a new class of computing.

If you’ve ever complained about your workstation, your operating system, or both, this one’s for you.

Caligra is rethinking what a computer should be when the user is a professional developer, not a consumer. The c100 strips away distraction, bloat and compromise, replacing them with a purpose-built machine and a Linux-based operating system designed for deep focus and performance.

And yes, it’s a reminder that you can still build meaningful hardware without billions, even in a world obsessed with hyperscalers.

Who you’ll hear from

Grant Bissett
Co-founder & CEO, Caligra
Former fintech founder and product builder, now taking on one of the hardest problems in technology: redefining the workstation for modern technical work.

Caitlin Zotti
COO, Caligra
One of Australia’s most respected startup operators, joining from Perth. Caitlin brings deep experience scaling companies through complexity, from operations to execution.

Grant and Caitlin previously worked together at Pin Payments (as Co-founder and Co-CEO respectively) and are part of a generation of Australian founders who’ve built globally, learned the hard lessons, and are now doing something genuinely original.

This event is open to all in the Euphemia community. Tickets are free, but limited, so registration is essential.

For Sophisticated Investors this event also marks something important.

Caligra will be the first deal brought to the Euphemia Syndicate in 2026.

This is an opportunity to:

  1. See the product up close

  2. Understand the ambition and execution quality of the team

  3. Gauge whether you want exposure to what could become one of the most important new computer platforms of the next decade

Caligra’s pre-seed round was led by Blackbird, underscoring the conviction behind the company and the scale of the opportunity.
