Claude Workshop for Business Owners
Most people use Claude like a search box. In 90 minutes, you'll set it up to work like a capable member of your team.
This is a free, hands-on workshop for local business owners. Bring your laptop and follow along live. We'll go step by step through setting up your Claude account the right way, so you leave with something that understands your business and is doing real work for you.
By the end of the workshop, you'll know how to:
Pick the right Claude model for the job (Haiku, Sonnet, Opus) and when to turn the effort up or down
Teach Claude who you are and how your business runs, so every conversation starts with context instead of a blank page
Set up Projects so each part of your work has its own instructions, files and memory
Connect the tools you already use, like your email, calendar and documents, and pull real answers from them
Use plugins, skills and slash commands, and know how they fit together
Turn a task you keep doing by hand into a reusable skill, no code required
Schedule Claude to run things on its own, like a morning brief or an end of week recap
Create finished work you can hand over: a document, a slide deck or a simple dashboard
If we have time, we'll also cover setting up a workspace folder with your own house rules, and a quick privacy check so you know exactly what Claude does with your data and what not to share.
What to bring: your laptop with the Claude desktop app installed and your account signed in. You'll get access to the live course during the session so you can keep using it afterwards.
Who it's for: owners and managers of local businesses who want to save real hours every week. No technical background needed.
Food and drinks: the venue has a dinner and drinks menu, so feel free to order something and eat while we work. Food and drinks aren't included with the workshop and are paid for individually.
