Designed In Cleveland 2026 - Materials & Making
Join us at LAND’s factory and studio to celebrate great design in Cleveland! Enjoy food & drinks, take a tour, and get inspired. This is our fifth annual Designed in Cleveland event and it will once again be a place for industrial designers and other creatives in Northeast Ohio to come together and celebrate the great design work being created locally.
We will start the evening with an hour of food, beverages, networking, and conversation. During that time there will be tours of LAND’s studio and manufacturing facility for their superbly designed electric motorcycles.
Next, given our factory setting, we’ll have three great presenters who all have different relationships to materials and manufacturing. They’ll be showing off their work and talking about how they think about making things. We will have Nate Cotterman & Antonia Campanella of Nate Cotterman Glass, whose work has a foundation in craft, Brian Hendricks of Lofted Goods, whose customers are the ones doing the manufacturing, and Alex Mummert of Rockwell Automation, who designs products to enable manufacturing on large scales. Later they will be joined by Scott Colosimo, CEO of LAND, for a panel discussion on “Materials & Making.”
At the end of the evening there will be a little more time for libations and catching up with friends and colleagues, plus Gordon Square is just down the road if you’d like to continue your conversations at one of its great bars and restaurants.
