About Event

The Rooms We Inhabit

A Bureau of Play Panel on Space, Atmosphere, and Agency

The spaces we inhabit shape more than our surroundings. They shape our mood, our behavior, our relationships, and our sense of belonging and possibility.

From our homes and workplaces to cafés, studios, and gathering spaces, these spaces have a quiet influence on how we move through the world.

The Rooms We Inhabit is a salon-style panel and conversation exploring the subtle power of space, and how we might become more conscious participants in shaping the rooms we inhabit.

We’ll explore themes like:

  • How Space Shapes Us: Who or What Sets the Tone?

  • The Ecology of Space: Elements of Wellbeing and Interconnectedness

  • Spatial Agency: Authoring and Shaping New Rooms

Expect a thoughtful evening of conversation with designers and spatial thinkers, followed by audience reflection and dialogue.

Panelists:

Sasha Topolnytska
Founder, FARMMM Studio

FARMMM is a New York–based interdisciplinary design practice founded by Sasha Topolnytska. Working across scales and mediums—from soft sensory sculptures to architectural projects, research, and public installations—FARMMM explores how design can embody inclusivity, resilience, and joy.

Rooted in the idea of architecture beyond buildings, the practice creates spaces and experiences that nurture belonging, memory, and care. Acting as a form of soft activism, its work invites reflection on how environments shape empathy, safety, and collective well-being.

Danielle Fennoy
Founder, Revamp

Danielle Fennoy has been creating transformational interiors since 2008, but the journey began many years earlier. Raised in Pasadena, CA, by a family of “fixer-uppers,” weekends were spent stenciling floors, stripping windows, installing tile, and beautifying their home. She grew up thinking, “that’s what people do,” and never considered interior design as a career path until much later in life.

Danielle was awarded Interior Design Best of Year Award, Residential Townhouse, in 2013. She’s been featured on HGTVs My Favorite Place, and Bang for your Buck. She was named in 2010 House Beautiful’s Next Wave of Designers and has been featured in NY Magazine, Interior Design, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, and LONNY Mag, to name just a few.
