NEORT++では、ジェネラティブアーティスト Kazuhiro Tanimoto の個展「Rain Blooms — Worlds Emerging from Computation」を開催します。会期初日となる5月15日(金)、作家を迎えてのオープニングレセプションを実施いたします。どなたでもお気軽にご参加ください。
本展は、人工生命(ALife)モデルであるセルオートマトンを軸とした計算プロセスから立ち上がる、ビジュアル表現の多様性を提示する展覧会です。局所ルールが反復されることで、雨が花を咲かせるように偶発的・有機的なビジュアルが立ち上がります。その表現を、LEDパネルによる物理筐体作品と、ジェネラティブなデジタル作品の二軸から構成します。
また本展は、ジェネラティブアートの主要プラットフォーム Art Blocks Studio との協業プロジェクトとして開催。エディション128点のデジタル作品コレクション「Rain Blooms」が、5月22日(金)0:00 JSTよりArt Blocks Studioにてリリースされます。日本発のジェネラティブ表現を米国を中心としたグローバルな文脈に接続する、継続的な取り組みの起点となる展覧会です。

NEORT++ presents "Rain Blooms — Worlds Emerging from Computation," a solo exhibition by generative artist Kazuhiro Tanimoto. Join us for the opening reception on Friday, May 15, where the artist will be present. There will be refreshments and drinks served.
This exhibition presents the diversity of visual expression that emerges from computational processes built on cellular automata, a model from the field of Artificial Life (ALife).Through the iteration of local rules, organic and emergent visuals unfold — like rain coaxing flowers into bloom.The show is structured around two axes: custom-designed LED physical works and generative digital works.
This exhibition is presented in collaboration with Art Blocks Studio, the leading platform for generative art. The "Rain Blooms" digital collection (edition of 128) will be released on Art Blocks Studio on May 22, 2026, 0:00 JST. The project marks a key milestone in connecting Japanese generative art practice with international collectors and communities.
