About Event

Join us at School of Machines !

Exchanging knowledge and experience with emerging AI technologies is urgent. Without broadening the base of people who can understand, utilize and explain them, society cannot form a grounded and coherent response to rapid advancements supercharged by cabals of global capital. We seek to create a space where artists, tech enthusiasts, programmers and literally anyone else is welcome to share and learn.

We encourage sharing of personal experience with LLMs, AI agents and other AI tools. In particular we are interested in creative projects in art, performance, music and personal productivity.

Meredith Thomas is an artist and creative technologist based in Berlin. He studied biomedical engineering and science communication at Imperial College London. After moving to Berlin he became interested in creative uses of technology. He has worked as a programmer and an artist to create transmedia experiences in virtual reality, for multimedia installations and for the stage. His work focuses in particular on novel uses of machine learning in creative domains and critiquing the broader technological and cultural manifestations of artificial intelligence.

Victor Diaz is a product engineer and interaction designer based in Berlin, with a background in telecommunication engineering and cognitive systems. He started his career in the satellite industry, passing through robotics and hardware prototyping at Google ATAP, and spent years teaching physical computing and UX. He later moved into product work in health and finance, and led design at an AI fintech as Head of Design. He has a long-running interest in the connection between computing and public space, from urban games to media façades and mobile maker spaces. His current work is on agentic workflows and generative UI.
