​The funding landscape for SMEs in Canada has shifted dramatically over the past year.  According to BDC’s most recent State of Entrepreneurship Report, entrepreneurs are prioritizing profitability over growth, leveraging artificial intelligence and investing in professional development to improve productivity and adapt to a changing macroeconomic environment. 

​This conversation provides a unique opportunity for SME leaders from the community, ecosystem partners and allies to gain insight into the specific needs of Black business owners as the definition of ‘fundable’ continues to evolve.
