Creating effective teams
Join us for a high-impact, one-hour online event designed specifically for HR professionals, team leaders, line managers, and recruiters who want to unlock the true potential of their teams.
This must-attend session will be hosted by Alice Hargreaves, CEO of SIC, alongside Alice Reeves, Non-Executive Director of SIC and Founder of Joyfully Different, and DeAnna Avis, Founder of Joyfully Different. Together, they will share lived-experience expertise, practical tools, and proven strategies to help you create inclusive, high-performing teams.
For the first time, SIC and Joyfully Different are joining forces to bring you a powerful blend of expertise. SIC leads the way in closing the disability employment gap through community-driven support, career guidance, and advocacy for disabled and neurodivergent professionals. Joyfully Different is a specialist neurodiversity consultancy, championing the neuroinclusion revolution by creating communication frameworks and environments that unlock the full potential of all people, no matter their neurotype.
This unique collaboration means you’ll gain insight from two organisations deeply rooted in lived experience, but approaching inclusion from complementary angles, from removing barriers and shaping policy to transforming everyday team communication and culture.
Alice Hargreaves will explore what inclusion really means, drawing on her expertise as a disabled speaker, trainer, and consultant. You will discover how inclusive practices not only remove barriers but also build stronger, more resilient teams.
Alice Reeves and Deanna Avis will introduce a powerful tool that will transform the way you communicate and engage diverse teams: the Joyfully Different Communications Compass. This framework will help you move beyond one-size-fits-all communication to personalised approaches that increase collaboration, empathy, energy and productivity, ensuring everyone can contribute their best work.
The impact of communication on team success is undeniable. Research shows that teams with effective communication can see productivity increase by up to 25% (Sociabble, Apollotechnical), while 64% of business leaders recognise that strong communication directly drives results (Pumble). Poor communication, on the other hand, erodes trust, fuels stress, lowers morale, and causes costly turnover (Notta, Adalyon).
If you want to lead a team that works smarter, not harder, this is your chance to learn from experts who are shaping the future of inclusive workplaces.
Reserve your free place today and take the first step toward creating teams where everyone, and every brain, can thrive.
