AI Forum 04, Manchester
AI Forum 04 will be co-hosted by LocalGlobe (part of the Phoenix Court Group) and Unit M. The initiative is designed to support, track, and constructively challenge the UK Government's AI Opportunities Action Plan, launched in January 2025, over the next two years.
Unit M is delighted to be hosting the event at The University of Manchester on Wednesday 19th November.
The forum serves as a platform for the broader AI ecosystem, including government officials, academics, startup founders, policy experts, and civil society, to generate valuable, bottom-up insights on the real challenges facing the sector on the ground.
It also serves as a model for building grassroots communities that can generate valuable, bottom-up insights on the real challenges being faced on the ground.
Focus areas include –
Tracking government progress by monitoring the execution and impact of the UK government’s AI strategy.
Bringing together diverse stakeholders to exchange ideas, share best practices, and collaborate between academia, industry, and government.
Discussions around critical pillars such as AI infrastructure, data access, talent and skills development, regulation for responsible AI innovation, and "go-to-market" strategies (procurement and adoption).
