​Emmanuel Brown, Founder & CEO, Churchspace

​Emmanuel Brown is the co-founder and co-CEO of ChurchSpace, a tech startup building the future of neighborhood design through the utilization of church real estate as community infrastructure. A first-generation entrepreneur and NYC-native, Emmanuel has raised $2M in venture capital and earned recognition in Black Enterprise 40 Under 40 and the Black Tech Effect Report's Top 100 Black-led Startups and more. Emmanuel’s career has been anything but linear—before launching ChurchSpace, he led business development for a high-growth startup, guiding it through a successful acquisition. He is passionate about faith-driven innovation and equipping underestimated founders to build and scale with impact without losing their souls.

​Monica Roman, Chief of Staff, Visible Hands

​Monica Roman is currently Chief of Staff at Visible Hands, a venture capital firm supporting and investing in underrepresented founders. She is a member of the investment team and leads up sourcing and selection for VH's founder-facing programming including VHNYC, VHBOS, and Blueprint: Tulsa. Her skillset spans investment diligence, portfolio evaluation, and fund operations and she has unique experience working with diverse and cross-functional teams. Monica is a graduate of the Macaulay Honors College at Queens College and received her MBA from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and cheering for the New York Knicks.
