What if immigration meant leaving another version of yourself behind?

When Soyoung Rose Kang moved from Korea to America at age ten, a part of herself remained behind. Decades later, a family funeral brings the two women back together—one living the life Rose chose, the other living the life she left behind. But not everyone is content with the path they were given.

Part speculative science fiction and part psychological thriller, Sublimation explores identity, belonging, and the question of how far we'd go to reclaim the life that might have been.
