This event is meant to celebrate and amplify community approaches, leadership, and knowledge in sustainability.
It aims to foster connections among those working to uplift community leadership in cross-sector solutions to nurture networking that can provide support in the future.
The event will also provide practical guidance and tools for advancing equitable collaboration that can facilitate collective solutions in the long-term to build social-ecological resilience and a more just and sustainable world.
It is open to people working across sectors from the grassroots to the governmental fields.

Katia Pilar Carranza is a researcher, advocate, and strategist focused on sustainability, climate justice, and agroecology, and for over ten years, she has worked on improving the reciprocal interconnections between people and nature. Across sectors, she has collaborated with diverse communities from the local to the international levels to improve our interconnected environmental and social conditions.
