The Mum Lab: Women’s Build Night — 2-Hour Hackathon, Sponsored by Lovable
A women-only mini-hackathon for mums, mums-to-be and women curious about building with AI. Women without children are equally welcome; babies, toddlers and kids can come along.
Build towards a working web app during a focused two-hour sprint—without needing to arrange a babysitter.
Welcome to the first-ever Mini-Hackathon organized by The Mum Lab! This event is officially approved by Lovable and runs under the Lovable Community Playbook.
Traditional hackathons demand entire weekends. But on Saturdays — when there’s no Kita, no school, and finding childcare is tough — ambitious women and mothers shouldn't be locked out of the AI revolution.
We’ve designed this sprint to be focused, high-energy, and genuinely family-friendly: arrive with an idea (or choose one on the spot), and leave with a live, functional web application you built yourself.
📍 Location: Berlin (Central, toddler-friendly venue with stroller access — exact address announced soon.

A carefully chosen Berlin location with room to move around, play areas, and changing facilities.
Kids, toddlers, and babies are warmly welcome by your side or playing nearby.
Need deep focus? Feel free to pop on your noise-cancelling headphones! While kids play and explore together, your host and community peers will be keeping an active eye out, giving you real uninterrupted blocks to build and ship.
No technical background or coding experience required — if you can describe your idea in plain words, you can ship it.
