monostate, a workshop at PRINTERHOF Zine & Publishing Festival

​Join us for our the first workshop of the day at the fifth PRINTERHOF Zine & Bookmaking Fair. Facilitated by Sascha Schilling of konter studio, this is a zine-making workshop with a (meta)theme on books and storytelling. Participants will be challenged to reflect on stories which have left a mark on them in some significant way. By reflecting on the written and spoken, perhaps that childhood book you still read from time to time, we will concept, develop and quite literally bind together each of our individual reflections to finish a physical zine together.

​Facilitation is available bi-lingually in English and German as needed, and texts can be in any language.

​What you can bring:

• ​A laptop and charger, if you want to work on anything digitally

• ​Books, photography, magazines and even stuffed toys or whatever, as everything can be scanned and used. Preferably something that means something to you.

​What you'll leave with:

​A printed zine in A5 with your work, together with everyone else’s. The final concept might form itself during the workshop and how much sense mixing different outcomes makes.
