Block Printing Scarf Workshop 🧵
Block Printing Scarf Workshop 🧵
Join us at Bolo Bolo Bakery for an intimate evening of art, tradition, and creativity. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore the ancient craft of block printing, from carving your own wooden block to printing your design onto a soft cotton scarf to take home.
Led by Milli Patel of Parampara and Sajnee Thakkar, this workshop blends heritage and modern design through tactile learning and storytelling. Milli, a Pratt-trained designer and founder of Parampara, is known for reworking heirloom textiles into contemporary pieces that celebrate sustainability and memory. Sajnee, a multidisciplinary artist and Production Manager at an embroidery studio in DUMBO, brings her infectious curiosity for craftsmanship and community.
As you carve, print, and create, we’ll serve tea and cookies from our bakery to keep the evening cozy. You’ll leave with your own hand-printed scarf, the block you carved, and a new appreciation for one of India’s most time-honored art forms.
Come solo or bring a friend and spend the evening surrounded by creativity, conversation, and the warmth of freshly baked treats.
