About Event

Lunch & Learn: Unlocking the Impact of Brain Health Research 

Are you conducting research in neuroscience, psychology, aging, computer science, public health, health promotion or a related field and wondering what comes next?

Join CABHI and the Pulse BioMed Hub on June 25, 2026, at the Emera ideaHUB for a Lunch & Learn exploring how brain health research can move beyond publication and into real-world impact.

This session will introduce CABHI's Brain Base collaboration with Dalhousie University and provide an overview of the supports available to students, researchers, innovators, and healthcare organizations interested in research translation, commercialization, entrepreneurship, and innovation in aging and brain health.

🍕Lunch will be provided. 

You'll learn about: 

  • The growing age tech ecosystem and opportunities in aging and brain health innovation

  • Funding, programming, and support available through CABHI initiatives such as the CABHI Science Collaborative, NextGen Support Package, Ignite, and Fuel

  • Pathways for translating research into products, services, partnerships, and ventures

  • Opportunities to engage with innovators, healthcare organizations, older adults, and caregivers

  • Entrepreneurship programs and activities

The session will be led by Graham Flick, PhD, Knowledge Broker at CABHI, who works with researchers, startups, healthcare organizations, and ecosystem partners across Atlantic Canada to help transform evidence and ideas into meaningful impact.

Whether you're actively exploring commercialization, curious about innovation, or simply interested in learning more about the aging and brain health ecosystem, this session will help you understand what supports and opportunities are available.
