Career Foundry: The Circuits | Sharpen the skills behind every solve.
Career Foundry is a hands-on professional development day for anyone building a career in Calgary tech. On November 4, East Annex becomes a career-building circuit — resume review, elevator pitch coaching, mock interviews, and professional headshots, back to back, so you leave with sharper tools than you walked in with. The day closes with an evening mixer at West Hall, where circuit graduates and the wider community come together to put what they've sharpened to work.

Built Here. Backed Here. Sharpen the skills behind every solve.
The Circuit
Four stations, one goal: your edge. The Circuit takes you through the tools that carry your expertise — your resume, your pitch, your interview presence, your professional presence— and sharpens each one. Work the stations in any order; walk out with a sharper edge than you walked in with.
Station 1: Sharpen Your Story (Resume Review)
Your resume is the first impression of your expertise. Get real-time feedback from industry reviewers and sharpen it into a story that gets you the interview.
Station 2: Sharpen Your Pitch (Elevator Pitch Coaching)
Thirty seconds to show what you can do. Work with a coach to sharpen your pitch until it lands the way your expertise deserves.
Station 3: Sharpen Your Delivery (Mock Interviews)
Run a live mock interview with an industry pro and get direct feedback on how you communicate under pressure — before it counts for real.
Station 4: Sharpen Your Image (Professional Headshots)
Your expertise deserves to look the part. Walk away with a free professional headshot that matches the professional you already are.
