About Event

What happens when campaigns stop waiting for voters to come to them and start meeting them where they already are?

Join 411 for a practical 90 minute session exploring some of the new digital tools and tactics we’ve been testing in progressive campaigns. We’ll take you behind the scenes of campaigns where we have tried something different: from Andy Burnham’s Reddit AMA in the Makerfield byelection, to using ManyChat to automate conversations with thousands of voters in Manchester.

We’ll unpack what we built, what worked, what surprised us, and what these experiments tell us about the future of digital campaigning. We’ll also share practical tools, examples and takeaways you can use in your own campaigns and use this time to test platforms we are working on creating ourselves.

This event is part of The Campaign Fringe, a full day of events, training sessions, and exhibits. For more details and to see the rest of the agenda, see here.
