Join TechTO, N49P, and AngelList for a curated evening bringing together Canadian founders, operators, and investors during SF Tech Week.

Hosted at AngelList Founders Cafe, this gathering is designed to connect the Canadians building in Silicon Valley - from founders scaling in the US to operators and investors helping them grow. Expect honest conversation, shared lessons, and a room full of peers worth knowing.

Agenda:

  • 6:00–7:00 PM: Happy Hour & Networking

  • 7:00–7:45 PM: Panel Discussion

  • 7:45–9:00 PM: Networking

Speakers

Andrew D’Souza is the Creator / Mad Scientist behind Boardy, an AI superconnector that maps what founders, operators, and investors are trying to accomplish and brings the right people together through high-trust, double opt-in introductions. Thousands of founders have used Boardy’s introductions to raise capital, close partnerships, and make key hires. Before Boardy, Andrew co-founded and ran Clearco, pioneering revenue-based financing and deploying more than $2.5B into over 10,000 startups. He scaled the company past $100M in revenue and 600 employees across 11 countries. Andrew is currently back at HF0 in San Francisco.

Avlok Kohli, the CEO of AngelList, is also the creator and founder of Fastbite, a lightning-fast food delivery service. Because of Mr. Kohli’s leadership and Fastbite’s incredible value to customers, Square (led by Jack Dorsey, Founder / CEO of Twitter) acquired Fastbite a few months after launch and has since integrated it into Square's own delivery product as "Fastbite by Caviar". Avlok Kohli also plays an active role in other rapidly growing technology companies as an angel investor, advisor, and founder.

Daryna Kulya, Co-Founder of Quo (formerly OpenPhone), is building the future of business communication, with 90K+ businesses using the platform. Before Quo, Daryna was a Product Manager at Vidyard, where she launched and scaled Vidyard GoVideo. She previously worked at Deloitte’s Digital Innovation Lab, prototyping and incubating emerging technologies. She also founded Product Hunt Toronto in 2014, launching the city’s first community-run Product Hunt meetup and growing it into one of Toronto’s largest product events.
