Art of Motion
November 21st & 22nd | Los Angeles
Presented by CarClub
For more than a century, the automobile has done far more than move us from one place to another.
It changed the shape of our cities, expanded the boundaries of where we could live and work, connected people and communities that once felt worlds apart, and gave generations a new form of independence, expression, design, engineering, and culture.
Art of Motion is a celebration of 100 years of motoring—and the role the automobile has played in advancing the human experience.
Almost every life has been touched by the automobile in some way. The roads we travel, the places we call home, the businesses we build, the people we meet, and even the way we imagine freedom have all been shaped by our ability to move.
We’ve come a long way.
From machines that were once mechanical novelties to vehicles that became symbols of freedom, performance, status, art, innovation, and identity, every generation has left its mark on automotive history.
At the center of Art of Motion is The Decades Exhibit, a curated journey through ten eras of motoring—from the 1930s through the 2020s. Ten automobiles. Ten decades. Ten different interpretations of how design, engineering, culture, and technology evolved alongside us.
But Art of Motion isn't simply about looking backward.
It is also about asking what comes next.
Presented by CarClub
Art of Motion is presented by CarClub, an automotive membership and community built around creating a more intelligent, connected relationship between people and the cars they own.
For the last 100 years, automobiles have evolved dramatically. The relationship we have with maintaining them, however, has remained surprisingly reactive: a warning light appears, something breaks, and only then do we begin searching for answers.
CarClub believes the next evolution is giving the car a voice.
By connecting cars, owners, technology, service, and community, CarClub is working toward a future where your vehicle can help communicate what it needs before a small issue becomes a large one—changing car care from something reactive and uncertain into something proactive, informed, and intelligent.
Art of Motion celebrates how far the automobile has brought us while offering a glimpse into how our relationship with it can continue evolving.
The past. The present. The future. Together.
