​Halide Energy has developed and patented copper-based flow batteries (CFB) from R&D based in Finland’s Aalto University, to overcome the limitations of existing BESS technologies and provide adopters with a cost-effective, fast-responding and long duration (8+ hours) solution.

​Being application agnostic and modular based on 400-600 kWh per 20" container system, the CFB is ideally used in industrial and grid-scale operations, such as complementing grid service operators, energy-intensive industries, or with renewable energy generation assets.
