THE SHIPYARD - WHERE IDEAS BECOME REAL PRODUCTS | OpenAI Build Hours x CIT
That project idea you've been putting off? Let's finally build it.
Introducing THE SHIPYARD, a space by the OpenAI Student Collective for people who love building, experimenting, and turning ideas into something real.
Whether you're into coding, design, startups, or just have an idea you've always wanted to try, this is your place to start.
Here's what we're getting into:
Find your people — Meet fellow builders, share ideas, and team up.
Spot real problems — Look around, find something worth solving, and figure out what to build.
Build with ChatGPT & Codex — Less time getting stuck, more time making progress.
Take it to the real world — Over 5 sessions, we'll work towards launching actual products and finding our first 1–2 customers.
Snacks & drinks? Of course! 🍩 Good builds need good breaks.
And yes, exciting prizes are on the way! 🎁 There's more to look forward to as we keep building.
You don't need a perfect idea or years of coding experience. Just show up ready to try something new.
🎓 Eligibility: This event is exclusively for students of Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT).
5 sessions. Your own product. A chance to get real customers. And a final showcase to show everyone what you've built.
Got an idea? Bring it. Don't have one? We'll figure it out together.
