🌝 On the lunar calendar, the fifth day of the New Year - this year falling on 2/21 - is celebrated as the birthday of the God of Wealth. Traditionally, people mark this day by lighting fireworks, starting new business ventures, and eating gold ingot-shaped dumplings for prosperity. So join us on February 21, 2PM to celebrate the birthday of the God of Wealth and learn to fold some special ingot shaped dumplings!

✨ A 3-hour dumpling-making experience (special LNY-shaped and colored dumplings; 1 meat and 1 vegetarian filling)
✨ 3 course meal - Lunar New Year Special snacks, 2 appetizers, dumplings, NA beverage, and dessert
✨ All tools and materials provided
👀What to Expect:
⭕ Celebrate Lunar New Year traditions in a warm, communal setting
⭕️ Learn to make two fillings of dumplings all from scratch, yes even the dough
⭕️ Work alongside new and old friends - teamwork is encouraged to rescue dumplings that don’t cooperate 😉
⭕️ Hear my family LNY traditions and engage with food story prompts to share your cherished memories

ABOUT THE DUMPLING CIRCLE
More than a cooking class, think of it as a book club around your grandma’s dining table. Inspired by my own family tradition of making dumplings with my now 97-year-old grandma, each gathering celebrates connection, storytelling, and the art of Chinese cuisine.
*Please plan to arrive 10 min early to get settled in, we will have 5 min grace period before starting. This event is for adults only, but follow us for future family-friendly gatherings!
