same room. same music. same kind of people who made the first one what it was (memorable af). plus the ones who heard the stories about it for 3 weeks straight and wished they’d copped their ticket in time...
Our plan was simple. fire dj. better sound system. a crowd that actually cares about music and dressing for a Saturday. no bottle service bs, no vip rope, no sections, no top 40 on autopilot, no stuck up people... just the kind of night edmonton forgot was possible.
Symposia is a room where the dj is dropping house into afrobeats into something you've never heard but will shazam twice and still miss. where the bass is the loudest thing in the building and nobody's shouting over it because everyone's actually dancing.
And the crowd is the headliner
it's a crowd that’s dressed for it. like actually got that shit on fr. The fits at vol 2 were insane. silk, leather, archive, vintage, pieces people had been saving for a night worth pulling them out for.
Strangers were complimenting each other in the bathroom line. People were trading ig's at 2am because the conversation they just had was the best one they've had all month.
nobody was stuck up. nobody was posted against a wall checking their phone. nobody was doing the edmonton-club-shuffle.
people were groovin & movin.
the music did its job. the fits did their job. And the vibe was electric

What is the entry policy?
Entry is tiered for online tickets and $30 at the door. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Once we hit capacity, we're out!
What is the vibe and music?
Expect a curated blend of House, Disco, and New Underground. This is not a Top 40 venue. We prioritize sound quality and a high-energy dance floor.
Is there a dress code?
Yes. High-fashion, low-ego. No sweats or loungewear. We are capturing the night on film, so dress like you are ready to be on camera.
Are there VIP tables or bottle service?
No. We have removed the "VIP" barriers to keep the energy focused on the music and the people. Drinks are priced fairly ($6 to $12) to ensure everyone has a good time without the pretension.
Where is the venue located, and how do I get in?
We are taking over a warehouse space at 9666 Jasper Ave, Edmonton, AB T5H 3V5. This is a multi-story venue called Brighton Block downtown Edmonton and we are on the 4th floor. There is a door located at the front door on Jasper Ave, and the venue is at the top of the building.
What are the parking and transportation options?
There is street parking available in the surrounding area, but we encourage you to use Uber or Lyft. This ensures you can focus on the night without worrying about finding a spot or getting home safely.
