This month at Owl-Create we invite you to join us with Angela Winter, The Awakened Creator, for Uncover Your Essential Brand – An Experiential Playshop.
There is endless noise out there for creative entrepreneurs (that's you artist, painter, illustrator, quilter, writer, chef...) about branding, and it can be frustrating, discouraging, and overwhelming to sort through it all seeking to find the answers and solutions that will help you stand out from the rest.
And there’s the creative conundrum of trying to fit everything that you want to say into a name, logo, color scheme, fonts, imagery, and copy that stays true to what you offer.
Creative ReSourcing is the key to staying connected in spite of all the noise.
Creating an authentic, creative personal brand is about uncovering and awakening to the essence of you.
It involves expressing the values, messages, mission, and vision that are born from your depths and the unique lessons and gifts you’ve spent a lifetime gathering and bringing into the world through your innate creativity.
The tools in this experiential playshop will help you begin and sustain this process. Though they may seem simple, these tools can have profound effect if put into regular practice.
Over the course of the week leading up to our playshop, you will receive daily invitations to deepen the exploration and prepare for our collaborative playtime. As with all things at Owl-Create, these are invitations. You get to choose where you engage.
However, this workflow was built through the combined creative intelligence of over four decades of holistic exploration and play in the realm of self-expression including the use of these very tools which prove themselves to be invaluable over and over again no matter how fancy and shiny and new other modalities and technologies seem.
Like anything, though, practice makes progress. So we encourage you to practice each day, and take the invitations that resonate most for you, and see what results begin to appear and shift bringing all of it into our playshop on Friday. May your brand be revealed!

Creative Re Sourcing is about listening for your creative impulses and knowings, so that you can respond to the world around you with a feeling of trust and security. You may know what practices and tools support you in connecting with that centered creative power, or you might be thinking, "that would be amazing, but I have no idea where to start." You might even be questioning your capacity for committing to such an idea, and the antidote is PLAY!
That's why Owl-Create hosts playshops that introduce various tools that our creative collaborators use in our own practices and creative recovery. Each playshop offers a practice and a tool that we'll explore in the sandbox together. In this playshop, we'll play with guided journaling and intuitive artmarking to create a visual keepsake that will anchor us back to our inner wisdom long after this playshop has ended.
